Your Wedding day
We are here to ensure that the day runs to your requirements and your dream is fulfilled, our team are here to help with all aspects of the planning and preparation so you can relax and enjoy the whole experience of getting married.

We will make the whole event stress free and enjoyable and will look forward to working with you both to ensure every details is to your liking.

Using our extensive list of contacts we can help with all aspects of the day including transportation and accommodation nothing is too big or too small - all your wedding day needs.

Civil Ceremony
The Crown is licensed for Civil Marriages in our 12th century restaurant or our 13th century bar and dining area. You can get married behind the bar if you so wish or by one of our inglenook fireplace or even in our luscious garden in the gazebo.
In the event that you have booked the Gazebo wedding and it rains we can always retire to an inside are to hold the wedding ceremony.

The Wedding Ceremony is not a religious ceremony and takes around half an hour during this time the couple say their vows and sign the registrar. I twill be conducted by the Kent County Council Registrar who will attend and will witness the signing of the registrar.

There are specific times in the day when you can get married and after there are ample time for photographs in our extensive gardens or in the old building itself.

Receptions
After the ceremony we have a selection of choices for your reception venue.

Marquee
If you are looking for formality we are able to hold a grand reception in a marquee in our grounds. We have over 2 acres of grounds and can build a marquee to fit any size wedding. Marquees work as a blank canvas and therefore we can design the marquee to suit your exact tastes and requirements.

For more relaxed wedding requirements we can build smaller marquees in our extensive gardens.

Dining Area
Within the Dining areas we can hold small weddings in our 12th Century building and can cater for full sit down wedding breakfasts or buffet style dining.

Catering
The Crown Inn has a reputation for high standards in dining experience and with a great team in the kitchen headed by John Radford you will always be secure in the knowledge that your food will be freshly prepared and of a very high standard.

Once again we offer choice for all catering needs.

We can offer three or four courses sit down dining for all locations and all menus are designed on a personal basis with the Head Chef, this allows choice and variety that can be tailor made to suit you and your party.

For more of a buffet style we can offer sit down fork buffets where we are serving top table - or finger buffets for a very informal feel.

We have also a very large BBQ in the gardens so if preferred we can offer a relaxed home cooked BBQ with a small Marquee in the grounds.

Music
We hold a full Music Licensee and therefore we can cater for all requirements
If you wish to have a full disco for the evening event we can cater for this in the Marquee and also we have a multitude of live bands we can call on if you wish to dance the night away.

Wedding Planning Service
We are very experienced in working with the bride and groom to ensure the day is exactly the dream you have always wanted within the budget that you have allowed.

We offer a free wedding planning service and have many contacts available to you, so if you are looking for flowers to favours or magicians to antique busses believe me we can cater for anything!!

Personal service
Headed by Jackie Cooper the owner of the Crown and a Director of Cooper Crown Inns Ltd., the Crown offer a totally personal service and therefore a visit and a discussion is essential to make all your decisions and see the beautiful grounds and spectacular old Inn in the Hamlet of Finglesham.
